Yash Reveals the Thought Process Behind the Title of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups

The world knows Yash as an unstoppable superstar, but his upcoming film, intriguingly titled Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, promises to showcase his creative genius, offering an intriguing, rousing and a massively entertaining experience.

While fairy tales have long been associated with childhood, Yash—the driving force behind the KGF saga—aims to subvert that notion with this upcoming massive action thriller. Directed by the internationally celebrated Geetu Mohandas, known for cinematic masterpieces like Moothon and Liar’s Dice (India’s official submission to the Oscars), the film promises to be a mega mass entertainer.

In a recent interview, Yash revealed that he personally came up with the film’s title. He said, “You have fairy tales for kids, but nobody is making a fairy tale for grown-ups. We just thought we’d make a fairy tale for grown-ups.”

Expanding on the concept, Yash explained, “The word ‘toxic’ has many layers, and it’s used in so many contexts. Yes, all of us are living in very toxic situations in so many ways. It felt like a very relevant and apt title for our film.”

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
