As a tribute to his lifetime of dedication to Sculptural Art, An Exhibition of his masterpieces will
be on show at Nehru centre, Worli, Mumbai. The entry is free and open to all Art lovers from 14th
Aug to 19th Aug 2024, 11am to 7pm
Sadashiv Sathe’s prominent and prestigious works include Statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj Opposite ‘The Gate way Of India’ Mumbai, Statue Of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose,
opp. ‘Lal Quila’ Delhi, Statue Of Rani Laxmibai at Gwalior, First statue of Mahatma Gandhi of free
India at The Town hall Garden, Delhi.
He had the honour and privilege to sculpt live Late prime minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpeyi, Prince
Philip, at Buckingham Palace, London, Maharshi Karve, to name a few.

The main Objective of this show, as explained by his son Shrirang Sathe, is to promote
sculptural Art and bring back the awareness in masses about this great art, which is our proud
Heritage, famous in the whole world.
During this show, On 15th of August, at 11 A.M., his Autobiography ‘ Ha Dhyaas Jeevanacha’ cowritten by Shri Satish Kanhere, and being Published by ‘Granthali’, will be launched by chief
Guest, Honourable Shri Raj Thakarey. Other special guests, Famous painter Artist and
researcher Shri Suhas Bahulkar, Famous Film Director and Producer Shri Ravi Jadhav, will also
grace the occasion. This function is for invitees only.
Shrirang Sathe has urged everyone to visit this Exhibition as a rare opportunity, to enjoy and
appreciate Great works by Late sculptor Sadashiv Sathe, in Mumbai.
