Renowned theatre artist, skilled makeup artist, and founding member of ‘Icon The Style,’ Smita Paigude Anjute has successfully explored many dimensions in her artistic journey. Now, through the film ‘Ghabadkund’, she is set to appear before audiences in a unique and mysterious role. Produced by Rasik Kadam and directed by Pritam S. K. Patil, ‘Ghabadkund’ is an ambitious project that will hit theatres on June 19.
Her character in the film is named “Rangi.” Seen performing black magic in the movie, Rangi will add a chilling and intriguing layer to the storyline with her piercing gaze and terrifying presence. The tagline perfectly describes her character:
“Fire in her eyes and fury in her spirit… she can make even the bravest break into a sweat… her name is Rangi!”
Speaking about her role, Smita said, “The character of Rangi in ‘Ghabadkund’ is extremely special to me. My experience in theatre and the understanding I gained as a makeup artist helped me greatly in shaping this character.”
