Bollywood superstar, youth icon and National Ambassador of Child Rights, UNICEF India – Ayushmann Khurrana bagged the honor of the Ambassador of India’s Youth Award at the CSR Journal of Excellence today for his contribution to outstanding work that motivates the youth of the country. Whether it is his selection of meaningful films or the hard-hitting lyrics of his songs, Ayushmann Khurrana has always strived to spread a positive message with his work.

Speaking at the CSR Journal of Excellence Awards 2024, Ayushmann said, _“Today’s youth are an ambassador of following their dreams and pursuing their passions, just like they should. On this occasion, I remember the wise words of our Former President – Shri APJ Abdul Kalam, he said – Sapne wo nahi jo neend mein aate hain, Sapne toh wo hain jo humein neend se jagate hain! So today, all I would like to tell the youth is that dream big, and then go chase your dreams. This generation is different from any other, I believe they have the power to change the world if they want to and I, if in any way inspire them – that is a huge milestone for me. I dedicate this award to everyone who fights for their dreams.”_

Furthermore, talking about what is the driving factor for today’s youth, he said, _“Today’s youth is driven by their passion and their hunger to not take the easier path – and do what they believe in. This generation of people are driven by their motivation to succeed just like everyone else, but they choose a path that resonates the most with their individuality to bring about this change. The power to shape and take India into the future lies in the hands of the youth of the country. We are a young nation, a nation of 1.4 billion dreams and our youth has access to everything to make India one of the greatest nations ever. For that everyone has to come forward and do their bit to build our nation in whichever way possible. I’m trying to do my bit through my cinema or the work that I do as the National Ambassador of UNICEF.”_
