Vvan: Force of the Forest Makers Plan a 10-Day Shoot to Amp Up the Film’s Final Act to Serve an Unforgettable Theatrical Larger Than Life Experience

The makers of Vvan: Force of the Forest, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, are missing no chance in offering a grand cinematic spectacle. Filmmakers of this fantasy folklore thriller have planned a 10-day additional shoot to amp up key sequences, with special focus on the climax to make Vvan an even richer theatrical experience. After going through the film’s final cut, the makers thought certain scenes could be strengthened further for a better payoff.

“The team simply felt there was scope to make few scenes bigger and more dramatic. When you’re building a world as unique as ‘Vvan’, every detail matters,” says a source close to the production.

Helmed by director Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, Vvan: Force of the Forest combines mythology, mystery and forest lore. As per the insider, the team is pleased with the film’s progress so far and feels that certain scenes can be further elevated.

“The makers are extremely happy with the film. These additions will give audiences an even richer payoff in the final act,” adds the source. The film is expected to release in theatres on August 28.
