MUMBAI, January 23, 2026 – In a strategic move to disrupt India’s flagship smartphone market, Motorola today unveiled the Motorola Signature. Priced effectively at ₹54,999, the device marks the brand’s entry into the ultra-luxury tier, combining aircraft-grade materials, a DXOMARK Gold Label camera system, and an industry-first 24/7 lifestyle concierge service.
Alongside the smartphone, the company also strengthened its ecosystem with the launch of the Moto Watch powered by Polar, a premium wearable focused on advanced wellness tracking.

A New Benchmark in Mobile Photography
The Motorola Signature claims the title of India’s top-rated camera phone under the ₹1 lakh segment, boasting a DXOMARK Camera Score of 164.
The device features the world’s only Triple Sony LYTIA™ Pro-Grade Camera System:
Main Camera: A 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 828 sensor with a massive 1/1.3-inch size and f/1.6 aperture for superior low-light performance.
Telephoto: A 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 600 Periscope lens offering 3x optical zoom and 100x Super Zoom Pro.
Ultrawide: A 50MP lens with a 122° field of view that doubles as a macro shooter.
The camera experience is heavily bolstered by Moto AI 2.0 and Google AI. Features like AI Action Shot automatically adjust shutter speeds for moving subjects, while AI Signature Style adapts color tones in real-time. For videographers, the phone supports Dolby Vision® recording and 8K video capabilities.

Refined Luxury Meets Durability
Breaking away from standard glass-sandwich designs, the Signature features a unique fabric-inspired finish available in two Pantone™ curated colors: Martini Olive (Twill texture) and Carbon (Linen texture).
Despite its premium aesthetic, the phone is built to endure. It uses an aircraft-grade aluminum frame and measures just 6.99mm in thickness. It is also one of the few flagships to carry IP69 and IP68 certifications, allowing it to withstand high-pressure water jets and submersion up to 1.5 meters.
Immersive Display and Performance
The front of the device is dominated by a 6.8-inch Super HD (1.5K) Extreme AMOLED display. It offers a staggering 6200 nits peak brightness and a 165Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2. Multimedia is further enhanced by dual stereo speakers with Sound by Bose and Dolby Atmos®.
Under the hood lies the latest Snapdragon® 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, supported by a liquid metal cooling system to sustain peak performance. The device is powered by a 5200mAh Silicon-Carbon battery that supports 90W TurboPower™ wired charging and 50W wireless charging, promising up to 41 hours of battery life.

Service as a Differentiator: The Signature Club
Perhaps the most unique aspect of the launch is the Signature Club. For the first time in India, a smartphone brand is offering a 24/7 live agent concierge service. Accessible via a dedicated app, users can get real-time assistance for travel bookings, dining reservations, gift shopping, and even event coordination.
Motorola also promises 7 years of OS upgrades and security updates, ensuring the phone remains current until Android 23.
Moto Watch Powered by Polar
The new Moto Watch brings Polar’s renowned sports science to a classic timepiece design. It features a 1.4-inch circular OLED display, dual-band GPS, and a rugged aluminum body. Key features include Nightly ANS recharge insights and highly accurate SpO2 tracking. It offers a battery life of up to 13 days on a single charge.
