The excitement for Devara: Part 1 is at an all-time high as the highly anticipated film is set to hit theaters tomorrow. Even before its release, the film is already being hailed as a blockbuster, with an overwhelming response pouring in from advance bookings. Having already shattered records at the global and South Indian box offices, the excitement for the film in the North. As advance bookings in the Hindi belt officially open, audiences are eagerly awaiting the grand cinematic experience Devara: Part 1 promises to deliver.
In the South, Devara: Part 1 continues its remarkable advance booking streak. Combined, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have already accumulated ₹35.98 Cr from 5,347 shows with 66% of seats booked. On the other hand, Karnataka has contributed ₹5.79 Cr from 1,320 shows, with 32% of seating capacity already locked in. Well, these numbers are already skyrocketing, they are expected to rise even higher on the release date.
On the global front, Devara: Part 1 is making significant strides, having earned an astounding ₹51 Cr in worldwide advance bookings, including premiere collections. In North America alone, the film’s pre-sales have surpassed $2.5M+, and the only Indian Hero to have back-to-back these sales solidified NTR Jr.’s star power internationally as well as in India. In the UK, more than 20,000 tickets for the premiere have been sold, and in Australia, pre-sales have crossed AU$250K, with 11,000 tickets already sold.
NTR Jr.’s global appeal continues to soar, highlighted by his recent appearance at Beyond Fest 2024 in Los Angeles, where he was greeted with overwhelming fanfare. A special screening of RRR sold out in just nine minutes, filling all 516 seats—90% of which were claimed by Western audiences, further proving the actor’s unprecedented craze in the West.
Not just this, after RRR the festival will be premiering Devara: Part 1 on 26th September 2024 at the Egyptian Theatre in LA. The film has already achieved a significant milestone by securing a premiere at Beyond Fest ahead of its theatrical release.
As Devara: Part 1 edges closer to its release, excitement is building, and the world can’t wait for the arrival of NTR Jr. Now, with the Hindi belt’s advance bookings open, the anticipation is only set to skyrocket.
