Speaking at the premiere, filmmaker Subhash Ghai said, “I am extremely happy that initiatives like this continue to promote theatre and drama. I was born through theatre; before FTII, my journey began here, and I have always remained deeply fond of it. I’ve come here many times, and today I’m looking forward to experiencing something truly special.”
Actor Mandira Bedi added, “It’s a beautiful, spectacular production; a true search for truth, which has so many forms and expressions. The storytelling through visuals and dance is remarkable. It’s the kind of experience where each viewing reveals something new, depending on what you take away from it. The production, costumes, and choreography are all absolutely outstanding.”

Tesseract: The Geometry of Truth is a breathtaking theatrical experience that traces the arc of human thought—from the first spark of awareness to the questions shaping our collective future. Presented on a cinematic scale, the production combines expansive LED environments, augmented reality elements, immersive soundscapes, and precision choreography to create a world where ideas are not simply explained but deeply felt.
The story unfolds inside a vast “living archive” where eras emerge and dissolve seamlessly as belief, reason, creativity, courage, invention, and consequence collide. Philosophers debate truth, artists transform emotion into meaning, revolutionaries challenge the status quo, journalists fight noise with facts, and visionaries reshape the world while confronting the cost of progress.
Anchored by lead performances from Megan Murray and Pia Sutaria and brought to life by a powerful ensemble of 100 dancers, the production blends movement, dialogue, and visual storytelling at a scale associated with major global theatrical spectacles.
What begins as a journey through history ultimately becomes a powerful reflection on the present moment – posing a compelling question to audiences: not where humanity has been, but what kind of future we are choosing to build.
Following the premiere, Tesseract: The Geometry of Truth will run for a limited series of performances at the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, inviting audiences in Mumbai to experience a visually immersive theatrical spectacle that blends art, technology, and storytelling.
