Mumbai. The new executive was announced in a meeting held on 8 October 2024 at Hindu Gymkhana, Marine Lines, Mumbai under the supervision of NUJI Vice President and Supervisor Shivendra Kumar of Maharashtra unit affiliated to National Union of Journalists, India.

Apart from this, the outline of the upcoming programs was also decided. In the new executive, Mumbai unit President Hansraj Kanojia (Tarunmitra), General Secretary Mayur Parikh (News Country-News) and Treasurer Vasudha Dhumak (Khabrein-Aaj Tak) were elected. Among the three ‘Vice Presidents’, Baba Londhe, Sanjana Bharti Gandhi (Pune) Ajit Singh Matta are prominent.

The 4 secretaries who were included in the new executive include PC Kapadia, (Filmy Action -Chhapu.com), Sharvari A. Joshi (freelance journalist), Raj Pandey (CEN News), Manish Sheth (Jansatta-Loksatta) are the prominent names. Among the two office secretaries, the names of Mr. Dinesh Savaliya (Gujarati Midday) and Mr. Sunil Nikam (Jansandesh TV) (Nashik) are prominent. The names of the two media persons selected in the Media Cell are Imtiaz Azim (Sahara Samay TV) Jigna Dutta (Zee-5). Apart from this, 8 executive members were also elected whose names are Shanth Kumar (Times of India), Shadab Khan (Midday English), Satish Soni (GSTV News Channel), Manish Gupta (Dainik Bhaskar), Vijay Gohil (Free-Press Journals), Arjun Kamble (Saamna- Hindi), Vijay Bate (Sakal), Sushma Patil (Sakal, Pune), Imtiaz Sheikh (Urdu Times), Ramakant Munde (Bollywood News), Paresh B Mehta (Editor-Filmy Town), Viral Vyas (Janmabhoomi- Gujarati Daily) Alpesh Vijay Mhatre (Dainik Prahar).
