Mumbai: Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering, Vashikaranam – Kis Par Rakhein Vishwas, has already sparked intrigues among audiences. The recently released trailer has drawn attention with its eerie tone.The show explores the story of Suman, a mysterious and commanding woman whose influence over an entire village sparks questions about belief, fear, and trust. Her presence is so powerful that people rarely dare to question her decisions, and the atmosphere around her is filled with an uneasy mix of reverence and apprehension.
At the centre of the narrative is Suman, portrayed by Snehlata Vasaikar, whose layered and enigmatic character drives the story forward. While some villagers see her as a figure of strength and guidance, others doubt the source of her power. Among those closely connected to this mysterious world is Tatya, played by Milind Dastane. A respected and ambitious man in the village who appears to value family and stability. However, beneath his composed exterior lies a web of secrets and inner conflicts that complicate his relationships and raise questions about what he truly knows aboutTalking about portraying Tatya, Milind Dastane said, “Tatya is a very ambitious character. On the surface, he appears to be a respected man in the village and someone who wants a happy and stable family life. However, circumstances and his own decisions have complicated that dream. He carries many secrets and emotional conflicts within him. While the villagers see him as a good and responsible person, his personal life is far more complex, especially because he knows truths that even his own children are unaware of.
