Trailer and Music Launch of Advait Masurkar’s film “Chhabi” Held in Grand Style
A photographer in Konkan clicks pictures of a girl. Soon, he experiences something strange about those photographs. What exactly is the mystery hidden behind them? The film Chhabi is set to unfold this intriguing story. The trailer and music launch of this highly engaging film was recently held in a grand ceremony. The movie is slated for release across Maharashtra on 25th September.
Produced by KK Films Creation and Ups Digital Entertainment, Chhabi is backed by producer Jaya Talakshi Chedda. The film has been written and directed by Advait Masurkar. It features seasoned actors such as Sameer Dharmadhikari, Makrand Deshpande, Shubhangi Gokhale, Rajan Bhise, Sanjay Kulkarni, and Leena Pandit, alongside fresh talent including Dhruv Chedda, Srushti Bahekar, Anagha Atul, Rohit Lad, and Dnyanesh Kadam. Songs penned by Mangesh Kangane and Prashant Madpuwar are set to the music of Rohan-Rohan, with vocals by Abhay Jodhpurkar and the duo’s Swaraj. The cinematography has been handled by Rohan Madkaikar.
The plot follows a young photographer preparing entries for a photography competition. For this, he travels to Konkan, where he clicks pictures of a girl. In reality, no one is visible in those photos. Yet, to him, the girl is clearly present. What is the story behind these mysterious pictures? Who is this girl? The answers will only be revealed on the big screen. Chhabi brings to life a mystical tale set against the lush natural beauty of Konkan.
In recent years, various films have highlighted the unique essence of Konkan—its nature, people, customs, and language. However, Chhabi promises to stand apart as a very different cinematic experience. That’s why this film is one to watch on the big screen.
