Dahisar: Residents of Dahisar’s Ward No. 5 have been distressed by the filth, garbage, and mud accumulating on the roads. Despite repeated complaints, municipal employees were ignoring the cleaning of the area.
A local resident, Maya, lodged a complaint regarding this with the Senior Vice President of North Mumbai Congress, Dr. Narendra Kumar. She informed him that during the monsoon season, the open sewers at the location were cleaned, but the extracted garbage and silt were left on the roads and, surprisingly, had not been removed until now.
Upon receiving the complaint, Dr. Narendra Kumar visited the site with party workers from Ward No. 5 and took stock of the situation. Subsequently, he contacted municipal officials, had the garbage and mud removed, and ensured the road was thoroughly cleaned. This has brought a sigh of relief to the local citizens.
Dr. Narendra Kumar has urged municipal officials to pay special attention to the sanitation of this ward to ensure the area remains clean and to prevent any adverse effects on the health of the citizens.
