She said, “We stand with Ranveer Singh. A wrong decision was imposed on him, but we are glad it has been withdrawn.”
Mumbai: The dispute between film actors Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar over “Don 3” appears to be resolved. FWICE had issued a Non-Cooperation Directive (NCD) against Ranveer in this matter, which has now been immediately withdrawn. Actress and President of the Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA), Poonam Dhillon, issued a significant response to the recent controversy involving Ranveer Singh and the film Don 3, stating that FWICE had neither informed CINTAA nor included it in the non-cooperation decision. She clarified that it is important to consult all parties before making such a decision, as unilateral decisions are never correct.
Poonam Dhillon said she was surprised to learn that her organization was not taken into confidence in this entire matter. According to her, any dispute should be resolved through dialogue and consensus, not through actions that affect the broader interests of the film industry. She expressed relief that the decision was withdrawn because its impact was not limited to Ranveer Singh alone. It would also have affected the livelihoods of technicians, lightmen, stunt performers, makeup artists, costume staff, and many other workers involved in film production. Poonam Dhillon emphasized that the film industry is the result of a collective effort and it is important to consider the long-term implications of any decision. Her statement once again underscored the need for dialogue, transparency, and the participation of all stakeholders in the film industry.

Padmini Kolhapure supports Ranveer Singh, saying we are always with him.
Film actress and Senior Vice President of the Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA), Padmini Kolhapure, welcomed the resolution of the ongoing dispute between actor Ranveer Singh and FWICE. She said, “We are very happy that Ranveer Singh is a member of the Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA).” Supporting Ranveer Singh, she said, “Every TV artiste in the CINTAA Association is like family, and therefore, it is the duty of the CINTAA Association to stand by them.” CINTAA Senior Vice President Padmini Kolhapure stated that she is forced to answer questions from the media and several CINTAA members regarding actress Upasana Singh’s media response on behalf of the CINTAA Association in support of Ranveer Singh. Padmini further expressed regret that CINTAA President, actress Poonam Dhillon, and Senior Vice President were not informed of the ongoing dispute between Ranveer Singh and FWICE.

In fact, CINTAA General Secretary, actress Upasana Singh, issued a statement to the media supporting Ranveer Singh on behalf of the CINTAA Association, raising several questions within the CINTAA Association. CINTAA was not taken into confidence at any level in this matter, nor was the organization formally consulted. It is extremely unfortunate that the CINTAA General Secretary publicly expressed her opinion, claiming to be a representative of CINTAA, without the knowledge and consent of other CINTAA office bearers, executive committee members, or the president. Even more concerning is the fact that no CINTAA office bearer was aware that she was representing the organization in this matter. In such circumstances, her action has raised several serious questions.
