On the occasion of Ashadhi Wari in Pandharpur, a new devotional song “Majhi Go Vitthala” has been released, dedicated to the unwavering devotion of countless Vitthala followers. Presented by Bachelors of Mumbai, the song features Bigg Boss fame actress Amruta Deshmukh, along with Vaibhavi Pawar and child artist Sharvi Bagde.
The music is composed by Ninad Mhaisalkar, lyrics by Vaibhav Deshmukh, and vocals by classical singer Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar. Ninad also directed the video and wrote the screenplay. The video was shot by Rahul Padave and Mandar Malondkar, with art direction by Amey Bhalerao (Filmfare winner for Shyamchi Aai). Anish Mhaisalkar and Richa Modak Mhaisalkar handled production, and Ishan Devasthali did the mixing and mastering.
Amruta Deshmukh shared, “The moment I heard the song, I said yes. Knowing that my face would be featured in a song sung by Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar was a huge honor. Through this, I got to experience the essence of the Wari.”

Director Ninad Mhaisalkar added, “This is our 8th Wari-themed song. This time, we dedicated it not just to Vitthala but also to Rakhumai, who supports the world alongside him. The lyrics reflect deep cultural meaning, much like traditional ovi.”
He also revealed that Amruta stepped in last minute after the original actress fell ill, calling it “Vitthala’s blessing.” The team is thrilled with the audience’s positive response on social media, where the song is already trending with reels and videos.
