On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Saint Jalaram Bapa — a symbol of charity, service, and truth — an atmosphere filled with devotion and faith was witnessed in Borivali (West). Saint Jalaram Bapa dedicated his entire life to serving the needy and showed the path of humanity. Taking inspiration from his life, a grand “Jalaram Jayanti Mahotsav” was organized at the Jalaram Temple on Lokmanya Tilak Road, Borivali (West).
Former MP Gopal Shetty was present as a special guest on the occasion. He offered a garland and prayers before the image of Saint Jalaram Bapa and sought blessings at the temple. Speaking on the occasion, Shetty said, “Jalaram Bapa set an example of selfless service and humanity. His life teaches us that true devotion lies in serving others without any discrimination.” He also interacted with the devotees and urged everyone to follow the ideals of Saint Jalaram Bapa in their lives.

From early morning, the temple premises were thronged with devotees. Throughout the day, bhajans, kirtans, satsangs, and prasad distribution continued. The chants of “Jalaram Bapa Ki Jai” echoed in the air, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The temple was beautifully decorated with flowers, and devotees lit lamps to express their devotion. The devotional music and kirtans filled the environment with divine energy.
The event was graced by several notable personalities and social workers, including Borivali-based social worker Ajayraj Purohit, along with many local citizens. Together, they pledged to spread the teachings of Saint Jalaram Bapa in society. The event was successfully organized with the dedicated efforts of the temple trust and local volunteers.
The celebration concluded with a collective aarti and distribution of mahaprasad, which saw participation from hundreds of devotees.
Spreading the message of devotion, service, and unity, the Jalaram Jayanti Mahotsav added a new dimension to Borivali’s rich religious and cultural heritage.
