Bengaluru: The debut edition of the Astral Star Kids and Astral Mummy & Me fashion show lit up the city with a dazzling mix of style, talent, and family bonding. Organized in association with Media Connect at Global Divinity Mall, Mysuru Road, the event became a unique platform where mothers and children walked hand in hand, celebrating confidence and togetherness on stage.

Two Segments, Multiple Crowns
The show featured two main categories — the Mummy & Me Ramp Walk and the Kids’ Fashion Show. In the mother-child segment, winners were crowned across different age groups: Astral India Mummy & Mini (ages 1–5), Astral India Buds & Beauty (ages 5–10), Astral India Glow Pair (ages 10–15), and Astral India Legacy Queens (15 years and above).
The kids’ segment was equally vibrant, with titles such as Tiny Miss/Mister Astral (ages 2–5), Little Miss/Mister India Astral (ages 5–10), and Junior Miss/Mister India Astral (ages 10–15) awarded to budding young talents who stole the spotlight with their charm and confidence.

Participation Across Karnataka
With enthusiastic contestants traveling from across the state, the event turned into a true celebration of creativity and talent. Beyond the ramp walk, it offered children a chance to build self-confidence while giving mothers the joy of sharing the stage with their little ones.

Organizer’s Perspective
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Pratibha Saunshimath, Director of Mrs. India Karnataka and National Director of Mrs. India, highlighted the unique concept behind the show. “This event was not just about fashion, but about strengthening the bond between mother and child. It also gave children a platform to showcase their talent and boost their confidence,” she said.

Celebrity Jury Adds Sparkle
The glamour of the evening was further elevated by the distinguished jury panel. Among the judges were Sindhoori yateesh; Dr. Nishitha Shettian Fernandes, Mrs. Independent International Runner; Shika Prasad, wife of Radha Ramana fame actor Skanda Ashok; and celebrity makeup artist and influencer Vidya Naveen. Their presence added both credibility and star power to the competition.
