PANAJI,GOA: In a bid to showcase the state’s diverse tourism offerings beyond the beaches, the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has officially unveiled its Calendar and Diary for the year 2026. The launch event was held at Paryatan Bhavan in the presence of senior corporation officials.

This year’s launch marks a significant return, as the GTDC has reintroduced its official calendar and diary after a hiatus of ten years. The 2026 edition is designed with a specific objective: to take the brand of Goa into homes across the country and the world, highlighting the state’s rich culture, heritage, and lesser-known “hidden gems.”

The merchandise was unveiled by the Chairman of GTDC, Shri Kedar J. Naik, alongside General Manager (Marketing) Gavin Dias and Deputy General Manager (Marketing) Deepak Narvekar, who also compared the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kedar Naik emphasized that the release is more than just a date-keeper. “This is not just a calendar; it is a beautiful showcase of Goa’s vibrant culture, heritage, and the hidden gems that make our state a global destination,” Naik stated. He noted that the initiative reflects Goa Tourism’s continued focus on promoting sustainable and regenerative tourism, urging the GTDC team to continue working with dedication to strengthen tourism outreach.

Managing Director of GTDC, Kuldeep Arolkar, highlighted the strategic importance of the release, describing the calendar and diary as “effective branding tools” that will promote Goa’s diverse tourism experiences. General Manager Gavin Dias added that the initiative aims to offer meaningful takeaways for visitors while spotlighting new tourism services and the beauty of the hinterlands.

The event was also attended by Deputy General Manager (Administration) Sandeep Gawas, Deputy General Manager (Finance) Kundan Naik, and Senior Managers Vishesh Naik, Pravin Phaldesai, and Prasad Kavlekar.
With this launch, the GTDC aims to redefine the narrative of Goan tourism, inviting travelers to explore the state’s scenic interiors and cultural depth in the coming year.
