Rapper-singer Honey Singh and actress Sonakshi Sinha created magic with their 2014 chartbuster Desi Kalakaar. The song not only became an anthem for music lovers but also cemented their on-screen chemistry. Last year, Honey Singh and Sonakshi Sinha treated their fans with ‘Kalaastar’, the sequel to Desi Kalakaar.
During his recent concert, the rapper gave a heartfelt shoutout to Sonakshi, crediting her for being incredibly supportive during the shoot of Kalaastar.
“She has always been so supportive. We have made part 2 of Desi Kalakaar. She was a bit busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s project. But, despite that, she came to Amsterdam to shoot with us,” Honey Singh revealed, addressing a massive crowd.
The original Desi Kalakaar track was a cultural phenomenon, blending Honey Singh’s signature rap with a gripping music video that left fans wanting more. As soon as Kalaastar was out, fans left social media buzzing and praising the energetic track. Released a year ago, Kalaastar has been enjoyed by a whopping 184 million viewers on YouTube, and continues to create its magic over the listeners.
