The JD Design Awards 2025, hosted by JD School of Design (powered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology), took place on May 23–24 at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. This dynamic two-day interior design event spotlighted innovative, AI-integrated, and socially responsive interior and spatial design projects by students, drawing over 1,000 visitors, including top design professionals and media.

Students presented emotionally intelligent furniture, sustainable co-living ideas, modular retail solutions, and reimagined public infrastructure and futuristic furniture design concepts. Their work reflected a deep understanding of design as both functional and empathetic.

The event also served as a recruitment platform, with companies like Design Cafe, Pergola Design, and Build Arch engaging with students. Industry leaders including Mr. Seetharama Sharma (Blum), Ms. Saumya Kashyap (Vystrit Designs), and Mr. Pratheep HS (Build Arch) praised the students’ creativity and innovation.
