While the country moves towards development, a gap has emerged between urban and rural areas. This has resulted in delayed marriages for young men in villages. Rising aspirations among women and other socio-economic factors are linked to this issue. This problem isn’t limited to rural areas — it has spread across the state, even in cities, becoming a social concern.
“Kurla to Vengurla” tackles this subject in a highly entertaining manner. Set against the backdrop of Konkan, the film showcases the vibrant and witty nature of its people, as seen in the teaser. The unique portrayal has heightened curiosity about the movie. Connecting soil and relationships, and telling the story of every family, “Kurla to Vengurla” is a must-watch on the big screen. Viewers will have to wait until September 19 to experience it.
