Mumbai: When you hear the phrase “Marathi music should be heard,” one name that instantly comes to mind is our very own Marathi artist, Kratex. The music video of the song ‘Tambadi Chambadi,’ featuring Kratex and Shreyas, recently released and has already gone viral on social media. This song is set to make waves worldwide, as people around the globe can now watch and listen to it. ‘Tambadi Chambadi,’ the first Marathi song to be released on the official channel of Spinning Records, an international music company, marks Kratex’s (Krunal Ghorpade) entry into the music industry. He has composed the background music for the song, while Shreyas Sagvekar has penned and sung it. The song is produced by World of Vibes and Rock Kachhi.
The video features performances by Tejas Shetye, Manish Shetye, Vrushali Shetye, Ninad Sawant, Akash Salunkhe, Matin Shaikh, Malhar Jadhav, Yash Madhav, Rupesh Kingre, Avantika Choughule, Ashish Negi, Dhananjay Jadhav, and Aniket Sonde.
The music launch event was recently held at I Leaf Banquets in Thane. Talking about the song, Kratex said, “I am overjoyed beyond words. It was always my dream to have my song featured on Spinning Records, a label that has previously released music by world-famous artists like David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, and Steve Aoki. Now, our Marathi song stands among these tracks in various languages. This is truly a dream come true for me. The audio version of this song received a fantastic response not only in India but also globally, so we decided to present it as a video. I will soon be performing shows abroad featuring Marathi songs. I hope the love from audiences continues. My wish is to see Marathi language and music resonate not just in India but internationally. On September 1st, the largest Marathi show will be held at Baller in Pune, and I invite all Punekars and audiences to join us.”
