“Seeing you, my soul immersed in devotion.
All my exhaustion vanished, and the clouds turned into Pandurang.
Taking the name of Tukoba, my eyes turned into fluttering flags of joy.”
With this divine sentiment in the air, the music launch of the film ‘Abhang Tukaram’ was recently held in an atmosphere filled with devotion and enthusiasm, in the presence of media representatives, dignitaries, and audiences. The rhythmic beats of taal and mridang, the echoing chants of “Jnanoba Mauli Tukaram,” the arrival of a traditional dindi procession, live performances by the film’s actors and singers presenting soul-stirring abhangas, and the symbolic union of Bhakti (devotion) and Shakti (power) represented by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Saint Tukaram Maharaj—all created a truly divine experience that deeply moved everyone present.

The music launch ceremony was graced by the Hon. Minister of Cultural Affairs of Maharashtra, Mr. Ashish Shelar, who officially unveiled the film’s music. On this occasion, he also felicitated the film’s cast and crew.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Shelar said,
> “Our culture’s roots and the values of Maharashtra’s land are beautifully conveyed through the thoughts of our saints, which director Digpal Lanjekar and his team are successfully presenting through cinema. It is indeed a blessed coincidence that this film is being released in the 750th birth anniversary year of Saint Dnyaneshwar Mauli. There is perhaps no one in this world unaware of the greatness of Saint Tukaram Maharaj.
When our words are touched by divine devotion, they transform into sacred speech. The abhangas written, sung, and spread through this divine speech resonate as Naad Brahma—the cosmic sound—bringing Brahmanand (divine bliss) to listeners.
This film holds an exalted place not only in Maharashtra but also among all who believe in the saint tradition and the path of devotion. May this film awaken spiritual strength within people and inspire them to merge into the divine essence of our bhakti parampara. When willpower and spiritual power unite, the cymbals of Brahmanand resound. I sincerely pray at the feet of Lord Vitthal for the film’s grand success.”
Expressing his happiness for being associated with such a meaningful film, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Chairman of Panorama Studios, said,
> “We felt it was our responsibility to bring this film to audiences. Our goal is to provide society with a new perspective through this film. We are confident that the audience will respond positively.”
Panorama Studios, a reputed production house, is the presenter of ‘Abhang Tukaram’. The producers are Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Ajay Ashok Purkar, and Digpal Lanjekar, with co-producers Murlidhar Chatwani and Ravindra Auti.
