During this meeting, they discussed the issue of granting Occupation Certificate (OC) to the residents of Willingdon Society Building in Tardeo, Mumbai. The Hon’ble Chief Minister assured that during the Ganesh Festival, residents legally residing in the building will not be rendered homeless by the Municipal Corporation. For this, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis personally spoke over the phone with Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Mr. Bhushan Gagrani and gave necessary instructions/directions.
In addition, the long-pending issue of the R.N.A. Exotica Project in Ram Mandir, Goregaon (West), which has been stalled for the last 15 years leaving more than 300 flat buyers without homes, was also discussed. Mr. Gopal Shetty has been consistently working on this matter for the past several months, and during this meeting, further discussions were held to ensure that the flat owners receive their homes at the earliest.
Mr. Gopal Shetty also informed the Hon’ble Chief Minister that the Bhoomi Poojan (foundation-laying ceremony) of the R.N.A. Exotica Project in Ram Mandir, Goregaon (West), will take place before the Ganesh Festival and that construction work will commence immediately thereafter.
