Veteran actor Ajinkya Deo recently represented the Indian film and creative fraternity at the prestigious Indo-UAE Summit, held at the Dubai Chambers. The summit brought together distinguished leaders and changemakers from both nations to discuss the evolving dynamics of the India–UAE relationship and opportunities across trade, culture, and innovation.
Ajinkya shared the stage with an esteemed panel that included Shri Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the UAE, Mr. Al Ghurair, and the Finance Minister of the UAE, among several other high-profile dignitaries. The discussion centered around strengthening bilateral collaborations in new sectors, from technology and sustainability to entertainment and tourism with Ajinkya contributing insights on how cinema and culture continue to play a vital role in fostering mutual understanding between nations.

Speaking at the event, Ajinkya Deo highlighted how the exchange of creative ideas and co-productions between India and the UAE can open new avenues for storytelling and cultural diplomacy. The audience included business leaders, policymakers, and members of the global Indian diaspora, making it a truly august gathering celebrating India’s growing global presence.
On the professional front, Ajinkya Deo continues to impress audiences with his powerful on-screen performances. He will soon be seen in Excel Entertainment’s 120 Bahadur, where he plays a decorated brigadier in a story based on the legendary Battle of Rezang La. Following that, he steps into the role of Vishwamitra in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, alongside Ranbir Kapoor. He also has a strong Marathi line-up, including Asa Me Ashi Me, and a Maddock Films project.
