On May 15, Rishab Rikhiram Sharma performed at the holy Rudra Yagya in Goa, which took place after a whopping 300 years. Organised by Goa Deputy Chief Minister, Vishwajit Rane, the holy event saw Rishab performing in front of 15,000 attendees. During the same, he elevated the spiritual atmosphere with his sitar prowess, showcasing the magic of traditional Indian music through his lens.
Rishab Sharma received a grand welcome at the venue, wherein he was adorned with a floral garland and was surrounded by chants and the beats of the traditional musical instrument, chenda melam. Beyond this, his welcoming also witnessed the presence of elephants, which added a layer of royalty.
Known for his knack for fusing traditional Indian music with urban beats, Rishab Sharma impressed a wide audience with his musical flair. Leaving everyone visibly moved, he evoked a sense of heartfelt emotion and had them reflecting over themselves. His recent performance at the Rudra Yagya stands as a testament to his sitar flair, enthralling audiences across age groups.
Recently, Rishab Sharma, being the youngest sitar virtuoso, was on a Sitar For Mental Health India Tour. However, amid the recent Pahalgam attack, he stood by his country, and cancelled a few shows, paying respect to the sacrifices and fight of Indian bravehearts. The recently held Atyatirudra Maha Yagya was performed in the presence of 1500 priests to invoke blessings on Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, also bestowing courage and strength upon brave Indian soldiers.
