Mumbai: Senior journalist and writer Amit Mishra was recently accorded a dual honor by the Borivali Merchants Association and Former Member of Parliament Gopal Shetty, acknowledging his significant contributions to the field of journalism. The occasion was made even more special as it coincided with Mishra’s birthday on January 1st.
Joint Felicitation by Merchants Association
In a collective ceremony organized by the Borivali Merchants Association and R.R. Thakkar & Company, Mishra was formally recognized for his noteworthy work in the media industry.
Mr. Mukesh Bhai Mehta of the Borivali Merchants Association and Mr. Varun Bhai Vasani of R.R. Thakkar & Company presided over the event. They praised Mishra’s dedication to his craft and honored him on behalf of the local business community.
Honor by Former MP Gopal Shetty
Prior to the association’s event, Former MP Gopal Shetty also felicitated the senior journalist at a simple ceremony held at Poisar Gymkhana.

Mr. Shetty honored Mishra by presenting him with a traditional shawl, a coconut (Shriphal), a floral bouquet, and a memento (Smriti Chinh), wishing him success in his future endeavors.
