Renowned for his consistent performances across diverse roles in various mediums, actor Shailesh Datar will soon be seen in a powerful and significant character. In the Marathi film ‘Case No. 73’, slated for release on 6th February, Datar plays the role of SP Sanjay Deshmukh, a fearless and duty-bound police officer.
As SP Sanjay Deshmukh, he has served his entire career with utmost integrity and dedication. Remarkably, not a single case has remained unsolved throughout his service. Known for his honesty, competence, and straightforward nature, Sanjay is widely respected and popular in his village. However, just as he stands on the threshold of retirement, he is assigned an extremely complex and challenging case. The pressure to solve it is immense. With no clear leads and constant obstacles, every moment becomes a test of his courage and resolve. This role, marked by discipline, bravery, and integrity, brings a compelling twist to the film’s narrative.
Produced by Lilac Motion Pictures and Dusk Studios, ‘Case No. 73’ is set to hit theatres on 6th February. The film is directed by Dr. Milind Mukteshwar Apte and produced by Sharvari Satish Watak and Dr. Milind Mukteshwar Apte, with Pravin Arun Khangar as the co-producer.
