The Mahesh Vaman Manjrekar-directed film ‘Punha Shivajiraje Bhosale’ has already created immense curiosity among audiences, and the recently released new poster has only heightened that excitement. On the occasion of popular actor Siddharth Jadhav’s birthday, the makers unveiled his look from the film — one that is entirely different from any of his previous roles.
With blood and scars on his face, a chilling expression in his eyes, and a ruthless ferocity radiating from his gaze, Siddharth Jadhav’s appearance in this poster is truly spine-chilling. This intense and powerful look has left the audience intrigued about his role in the film and about the film’s story itself.

Speaking about his role, Siddharth Jadhav says,
> “If I have to describe this role, I would say that my character in ‘Punha Shivajiraje Bhosale’ is the most distinct role of my career so far. The cruelty and ferocity of the character had to be reflected perfectly through the look. The entire credit for this transformation goes to Mahesh Sir. He asked me to send him one of my photos, and based on that, he designed this look. When I first saw it, I was stunned. I thought to myself — can I really look like this? I have never portrayed such a role before. But I have complete faith in Mahesh Sir, and I’ve tried my best to do justice to this character. I can’t reveal much about the role right now, but I’m sure the audience will love this new avatar of mine.”
Produced under The Great Maratha Entertainment, Satya-Sai Films, and Crizolh Productions, the film is presented by Zee Studios and is set to release on October 31.
Siddharth Bodke will be seen portraying the iconic role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film also features stellar actors like Vikram Gaikwad, Shashank Shende, Mangesh Desai, Prithvik Pratap, Rohit Mane, Nityashree Dnyanlakshmi, Sayaji Shinde, and Siddharth Jadhav himself.
Additionally, National Award-winning child actors Trisha Thosar and Bhargav Jagtap also play significant roles in the film.
The story and screenplay are by Mahesh Manjrekar, with dialogues written by Siddharth Salvi. The film is produced by Rahul Puranik and Rahul Sugandh, and will hit theatres on October 31, distributed by Zee Studios.
