When in Punjab, eat like the Punjabis’ do! This mantra was wholeheartedly embraced by the cast of Netflix’s upcoming comedy sensation, ‘Wild Wild Punjab’ which is releasing on 10th July. The film stars—Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh, Jassie Gill, Patralekhaa, and Ishita Raj—transformed into one big, happy Punjabi family by the end of filming. They celebrated every festival together, from Christmas to Lohri, and bonded over countless feasts of mouth-watering Punjabi cuisine. Shooting in Punjab was a delicious adventure, filled with laughter, love, and of course, lots of white makkhan!
Sunny Singh shared how he found a family on set, “The cast and crew of Wild Wild Punjab was one big happy Punjabi family! We had a lot of fun, it was a really happy set.”
Adding to it Varun Sharma spoke about how food was the glue that bonded them all together, “Food has played a huge part in our lives during the shoot because we were shooting in Punjab and we have had hard core Punjabi food during the schedule.”
Word on the street is that apparently Varun Sharma liked eating mushroom puffs every day, over and above trying some new wild dishes too daily!
