Well-known Vastu and astrology expert Anand Pimpalkar, who has been consistently working for social welfare through Vastu and astrology and is recognized for his in-depth knowledge and presentations, also has a deep passion for acting. Driven by this interest, he has portrayed diverse roles in more than 13 Marathi films, leaving his own distinct mark. Now, audiences will get to witness a new and different shade of his acting in the much-discussed historical film ‘Ranpati Shivaray Swari Agra.’ Produced under Panorama Studios and Mugafi and written and directed by Digpal Lanjekar, this grand film is set to release on 6th February.
In this film, Anand Pimpalkar plays the villainous character ‘Udayraj Munshi,’ who serves under Mirza Raja Jai Singh. Though the role is small, its importance and impact are significant, making it memorable for the audience. Anand Pimpalkar expressed his gratitude to director Digpal Lanjekar for giving him the opportunity to work in a film based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He shared his feelings, saying, “Through this film, I have been fortunate to become a part of the glorious chapter of Shiv-era history.”
