Mumbai, October 19, 2024: The Mumbai city edition of Mekathlon 2024, a leading STEM Fest organized in collaboration with the Commonwealth Youth Council, Commonwealth Student Association, and Global Understanding for Sustainable Development (GUSD), was a resounding success. Over 2000 students ranging from 8years to 18years showcased their skills and innovation in Robotics and Sustainable Development projects. The Mumbai city edition winners from both the Robotics and Science categories will earn a place in the grand finale which is scheduled next month in November.
This STEM Fest provided a platform for student innovators to apply STEM principles to real-world challenges, demonstrating both technical expertise and creativity. Participants displayed a strong spirit of collaboration and problem-solving, highlighting the potential of STEM education to drive future innovation.
The host school representative, Dr. Shailaja Tulsi, Principal of Mulund East campus at Orchids The International School, expressed her thoughts, “Mekathlon 2024 Mumbai edition showcased our students’ exceptional creativity and ingenuity, showing how effectively STEM education can be applied to real-world challenges.
