Several prominent figures attended the anniversary event in Borivali

Borivali: On the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the North Mumbai unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party organized a commemorative event at the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Chowk in Borivali (West).
Former Member of Parliament from Borivali, Gopal Shetty, was specially present at the event. He paid floral tribute at the portrait of Dr. Mookerjee and offered his heartfelt respects.
Public servant Gopal Shetty also addressed the large gathering of party workers and local citizens. In his speech, he shed light on the life and achievements of Dr. Mookerjee and elaborated on his contributions to the nation and its people.
Along with Gopal Shetty, Borivali MLA Sanjay Upadhyay, District President Deepak alias Bala Tawde, former District President Ganesh Khankar, several party officials, former municipal corporators, workers, and a large number of local residents were present at the event.
It is worth mentioning that during this event, a specially-abled girl from Borivali, Kumari Harshita Sanjay Singh, was gifted a computer. Additionally, several students who performed excellently in the 10th-grade examinations were given free notebooks and educational materials.
Considering the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, tulsi (holy basil) plants were also distributed to the women present during the event.
