The vessel was ceremoniously launched by Smt. Shilpa Agarwal, in the presence of Shri Rozy Agarwal, IDAS, Principal Integrated Financial Advisor (PIFA), Coast Guard Headquarters.

Speaking at the launch, Shri Rozy Agarwal lauded GSL’s robust execution capabilities and its pivotal role in advancing the nation’s maritime security.

Shri Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, Chairman & Managing Director, GSL, said that the launch of ICGS Atal was yet another milestone in our enduring journey toward a self-reliant India. “This vessel reflects the indomitable spirit of Team GSL and its unwavering commitment to indigenisation, innovation, and excellence in shipbuilding, even amidst global supply chain challenges,” he said.
