Some creations are such that one wishes to experience them again and again. Certain films also fall into that category—ones that audiences never tire of watching. ‘Gharat Ganpati’ is one such film. Now, viewers will once again get the opportunity to relive this cinematic treat on the big screen. After ruling the Marathi box office and winning the hearts of audiences, this much-loved film is all set to return to theatres on 29th August, owing to popular demand. With the festive atmosphere of Ganesh Chaturthi in full swing, this re-release promises to double the joy of celebrations.
Expressing his happiness, the film’s director Navjyot Bandivdekar said, “Many viewers often asked me when they would get to watch ‘Gharat Ganpati’ on the big screen again. With Lord Ganesha’s blessings, we are now able to fulfill their wish, and that gives me immense joy. Watching this film on the big screen is an altogether different experience. Through ‘Gharat Ganpati,’ we showcased a beautiful family story and Indian culture, and it feels wonderful to see the film still being appreciated at various levels.”
Speaking about the audience’s love, Murlidhar Chatwani, CEO (Distribution and Syndication) of Panorama Studios, said, “The entire team worked very hard to create this film, and it received a tremendous response from viewers. For that, we first and foremost thank the audience.”
Produced under the banner of Panorama Studios and Navions Studio, ‘Gharat Ganpati’ is directed by Navjyot Narendra Bandivdekar. The film has been produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Namrata Bandivdekar, Navjyot Narendra Bandivdekar, and Gauri Kalelkar-Choudhary.

The stellar cast includes Nikita Dutta, Bhushan Pradhan, Ashwini Bhave, Ajinkya Deo, Sanjay Mone, Shubhangi Latkar, Shubhangi Gokhale, Dr. Sharad Bhutadia, Sushma Deshpande, Pari Telang, Ashish Pathode, Rupesh Bane, Rajsi Bhave, Sameer Khandekar, and Divyalakshmi Maisnam. Their powerful performances added a special charm to the film. Audiences were enthralled by every aspect—writing, direction, dialogues, acting, presentation, music, and songs. Now, from 29th August, they will get to relive the same joy once again.
