Bengaluru, Nov. 3: Sudaya Foundation organized a fruit and biscuit distribution program for patients at the Asha Kiran Dialysis Center in Bengaluru.
Susheela C., Chairperson of Sudaya Foundation, personally handed out fruits and biscuits to the patients, spent time with them, and inquired about their well-being. Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized the importance of health awareness in today’s world. “The number of people undergoing dialysis is increasing. Hence, it is essential to raise public awareness about health and kidney-related diseases,” she said.
She appreciated the Asha Kiran Dialysis Center for its well-equipped facilities and quality medical services, particularly for providing free healthcare to underprivileged people from both rural and urban areas. The center operates without a cash counter, a rare distinction that highlights its commitment to service over profit.

Susheela noted that lifestyle-related health issues are on the rise among the younger generation. “People of all ages, including children, are facing kidney-related problems. Even youngsters are undergoing dialysis. No one should lose courage—any challenge can be overcome with determination,” she advised the patients.
Later, she held discussions with the trustees of the dialysis center about future plans to implement more initiatives that would benefit patients. The event was attended by Asha Kiran Dialysis Center Chairman Jagannath and other trustees.
