Mumbai International Film Festival 2026 Announces Opening of Media Delegate Registration

Mumbai International Film Festival is delighted to announce the opening of media delegate registration for its 19th edition, to be held from June 15–21, 2026, at the NFDC–Films Division premises on Gopalrao Deshmukh Marg, Mumbai.
Recognized as South Asia’s oldest and most prestigious festival dedicated to non-feature cinema, MIFF brings together filmmakers, storytellers, and creative voices from across the globe. This year’s edition will present a diverse and compelling selection of documentaries, short fiction, animation, and experimental films, reflecting the evolving landscape of contemporary cinema.
As India advances as a centre for filmmaking, digital storytelling, and creative expression, MIFF recognises the important contribution of the media in showcasing diverse voices, encouraging artistic conversations, and nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and content creators. The festival continues to serve as an inclusive platform that promotes cinematic excellence, creative collaboration, and the celebration of compelling stories from across cultures and communities.
Registration Details
Media registration is now open and will continue until June 7, 2026. Registration for media delegates is free of cost. Media representatives may register as Media Delegates by visiting https://accreditation.pib.gov.in/eventregistration/login.aspx or by scanning the QR code below.

Recognized as South Asia’s oldest and largest film festival dedicated to non-feature cinema, the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) has long stood as a vibrant celebration of documentary, short fiction, and animation filmmaking. Established in 1990 and organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, MIFF has grown into a prestigious international platform that attracts filmmakers, artists, and cinema enthusiasts from around the world.
The 19th edition of MIFF promises an immersive and enriching cinematic experience, featuring a thoughtfully curated lineup of acclaimed international films alongside an exciting array of industry-focused initiatives. The 19th edition of the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) Competitive Section has received 1,459 film entries from 47 countries, including India. The festival showcases films in more than 42 Indian languages and over 30 languages from outside India, reflecting its global reach and cultural diversity. Featuring works by acclaimed filmmakers from around the world, the festival will present some of the finest documentaries, short fiction films, animations, debut director films, and student films. Alongside the screenings, the 2nd edition of Doc Bazaar, enriching masterclasses, and an Open Forum by IDPA will further enhance the cinematic and creative exchange at the festival.
