“I’m Excited to Portray Krishna in Action and Create Goosebumps Moments”: Siddharth Gupta Opens Up About Krishnavartam: Part 2
After winning audiences over with his compelling portrayal of Lord Krishna in Krishnavartam: Part 1, Siddharth Gupta is now gearing up to take the character’s journey to an even grander scale in the upcoming installment. While his nuanced performance in the first chapter earned appreciation for balancing divinity with human emotions, the actor reveals that the next phase of Krishna’s arc will allow him to explore the character’s most powerful and philosophical facets.

Speaking about what excites him the most, Siddharth shares, “One of the moments I’m most excited to play is Krishna’s transformation into his divine, God-like avatar with the Sudarshan Chakra. That’s something I’ve been eagerly looking forward to. I’m also excited to portray Krishna in action because those are the moments that can truly give audiences goosebumps. But beyond the spectacle, I’m even more excited to explore Krishna’s wisdom and his understanding of Neeti the way he thinks, strategizes, and guides people through every situation. I believe that’s where I’ll get the opportunity to perform the most as an actor. A major part of my preparation involved reading and understanding these facets of Krishna’s personality. I’m not entirely sure how much of the Bhagavad Gita will be incorporated into the film, but if those elements are explored, I would be thrilled to bring them to life on screen.”
With excitement surrounding Krishnavartam: Part 2 continuing to grow, Siddharth’s insights offer a glimpse into the scale and depth that audiences can expect. As the story expands beyond spectacle to delve into Krishna’s wisdom, strategy, and divinity, the actor’s dedication to authentically portraying one of mythology’s most revered figures has only heightened anticipation for the film.
