Munawar Faruqui is proving yet again that he is a force to be reckoned with—not just in comedy, music, and poetry but now in acting as well. The multi-talented artist has made a seamless transition to the screen with his newly released song, Hawa Banke, showcasing his depth as a performer and adding another feather to his creative cap.
Presented by Anshul Garg, Hawa Banke stars Munawar alongside the stunning Kinza Hashmi in a breathtaking love story set against the ethereal landscape of Nepal. This soulful track, sung by the exceptionally talented Rito Riba and the iconic Neha Kakkar, is composed by Rajat Nagpal, with heartfelt lyrics penned by Vicky Sandhu.
The music video beautifully captures the magic of love—its fleeting moments and its transformative power. Munawar’s raw intensity and emotive screen presence make every frame relatable, while his chemistry with Kinza Hashmi adds to the song’s romantic allure.
Speaking about his foray into acting, Munawar shared, “I’m very grateful and fortunate to have fans who support my every move, and I feel a sense of responsibility to entertain them with whatever I do. Hawa Banke is special because it allows me to explore another side of my artistic expression. Set to head for a world tour, Munawar has a web series titled, First Copy starring him along with Gunshar Grover and Krystle D’Souza and a few unannounced projects on his slate.
