Bengaluru: Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in helping athletes recover faster and remain active with renewed enthusiasm, said Indian Women’s Cricket Team left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad.
Inaugurating Dr. Niv’s Sports Physiotherapy Clinic at MCECHS Layout, Bengaluru, Gayakwad said physiotherapy not only aids physical healing but also boosts confidence and endurance among sportspersons. “Athletes need physiotherapy support to get back on the field as soon as possible, so physiotherapists, especially sports physiotherapists, help cricketers return to play quickly after an injury. The role of physiotherapists, both on and off the field, is very important in cricket and every other sport for this reason. This clinic will certainly serve as a valuable support system for players,” she said by adding that Dr Nivedha’s work will definitely help athletes recover very quickly because of good and experienced hands.

Clinic Focused on Strengthening Recovery and Performance
The clinic has been founded by Dr. Nivedha Dilip (Dr. Niv), an experienced sports physiotherapist who has worked with the Indian Railways Women’s Cricket Team, BCCI-level squads, and the Assam Women’s Ranji Team.
