Several spiritual seekers gathered at the Samarthanam Art Center Auditorium in HSR Layout on Saturday for the “Aatmaanubhuti” event. This spectacular event was organised by ‘The Life Eternal Trust’, Bengaluru, to learn the practices of Sahaja Yoga.

Dr. Manoj Kumar, Chairman,The Life Eternal Trust Bengaluru, said Sahaja Yoga is a unique meditation technique founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970. SAHAJA means ‘BORN WITH YOU’ or ‘SPONTANEOUS ’ and YOGA means ‘UNION WITH THE DIVINE’.Sahaja Yoga is based on an experience called ‘Self Realisation’ which a person can feel through ‘Kundalini Awakening’. Kundalini is the residual Divine energy inside the Sacrum Bone in the human Subtle System. People can experience the feeling of Cool Breeze on their hands as well as on the top of their head. Sahaja Yoga meditation is highly scientific and is being practised in more than 160 countries across the globe. Sahaja Yoga enables us to go beyond our mental, emotional and physical activity to experience our true self within.

The program featured a vocal performance by renowned vocalist Shri Kumaram Iyer, a musical performance by Team Sunadha, the well-known band from Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, and a dance presentation by students of Preeti Sounder from Natarang School of Dance.

Sahaja Yoga meditation is highly connected with the Human Subtle System and by listening to the music during meditation, one can experience peace and attain a stress free state through Thoughtless Awareness. Sunanda the Arts and Culture Vertical of Samarthanam encourages artistic talent among people with disabilities by imparting training in dance and music. The dance troupe has delivered more than 3,500 performances across three continents. The visually impaired Musical Band of Sunadha is deeply creative with talented musicians and Instrumentalists on KeyBoard, Guitar and Drums.
