The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, made a vibrant mark on the opening day of the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Mumbai 2025, held from 11th to 13th August at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
At TTF Mumbai 2025, Goa Tourism showcased its Regenerative Tourism initiatives through a variety of projects and experiences. From January to June 2025, Goa welcomed 55.54 lakh domestic and international tourists, reflecting the state’s growing popularity. This November, Goa Tourism will also launch a special Cultural and Spiritual Tour covering 11 iconic Hindu temples, including Shri Manguesh Temple (Mangeshi), Shri Mahalasa Narayani Temple (Mardol), Mahadev Temple (Tambdi Surla), Shri Saptakoteshwar Temple (Narve), Shri Brahma Temple (Satari), Shri Shantadurga Temple (Fatorpa), Har Mandir (Margao), Shri Damodar Temple (Zambaulim), Parashuram Temple (Poinguinim), Shri Mahaganapati Temple (Khandola), and Shri Dattatreya Temple (Sanquelim).

In January 2024, Goa became the first state in India to embark on a mission to transform itself into a model for regenerative tourism in the country. As part of this vision, the Ekadasha Teertha Spiritual Circuit was created — an innovative initiative promoting environmental restoration, cultural preservation, and community empowerment through four guiding paths: spirituality, indigeneity, civilisational and cultural heritage, and conscious tourism.
Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, said, “TTF Mumbai is an excellent platform to engage with travel industry stakeholders and showcase Goa’s vision for sustainable and regenerative growth in tourism. We want to present Goa not just as a destination, but as an experience that preserves its natural beauty, nurtures communities, and celebrates culture all year round.”
Shri Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, Government of Goa, added, “Goa’s tourism is evolving with new experiences that go beyond the coastline. At TTF, we are highlighting opportunities for year-round travel that balance discovery with responsibility.”
On Day 1, Smt. Diya Kumari, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan, visited the Goa Tourism pavilion and interacted with delegates including Shri Rajesh Kale (Deputy Director), Smt. Chitra Vengurlekar (Assistant Tourist Officer), Shri Chandrashekhar Kopardekar (Manager, GTDC), and Smt. Janvi Kharat (Department of Tourism), among others. The delegation also engaged with leading travel operators, media representatives, and tourism boards to strengthen domestic travel partnerships.
Goa Tourism’s presence at TTF Mumbai 2025 reaffirmed its vision of a tourism industry that values culture, community, and the environment — inviting travellers to explore a Goa that is as inspiring as it is sustainable.
